I have not done too much research on the Internet, because the resources available at the library are better suited for the kind of academic papers I am required to write. That doesn’t mean I don’t spend a lot of time researching Internet sources, but generally I have academic resources to use. One tool I have started to use, and which I am starting to be a big fan of, is EverNote. I have installed EverNote on a USB drive, and I carry it back and forth to work. Now when I see a snippet of something I will want to keep for further research, I just use the Web Clipper extension for Firefox and clip the note straight into my database. Highlight. Click. Done. It is that simple! EverNote keeps the source reference, and a time and date stamp. It keeps graphics, formatting, whatever you see in your browser. Oo-la-la! RECOMMENDED!
